Bpi France – BIG 2023: Jean-Baptiste Choimet talks about hydrogen “made in France”
On the occasion of the BIG 2023 event, Jean-Baptiste Choimet, CEO of Elogen, took part in a round-table discussion dedicated to hydrogen “made in France”, alongside Franck Le Baron, Group Hydrogen Deputy Vice President at Engie, Géraldine Lemble, Deputy Director General of MEDEF International, and Pierre-Emmanuel Casanova, Co-founder & Chief Business Officer at HySiLabs, and moderated by L’Usine Nouvelle journalist Aurélie Barbaux. Discussions focused on France’s international hydrogen strengths, Chinese competition and the development of transport and distribution infrastructures.
Jean-Baptiste Choimet emphasized the need for skilled, high-performance resources if we are to be strong in the export market. France is fortunate to be able to count on top-level training in this field, but it is vital to encourage young people not only to become technicians and engineers, but also to embark on truly technical careers. At Elogen, we have many exciting technological challenges in store for them.
